Our wood windows are beautiful on the inside and Milgard tough on the outside. They feature a wood interior in pine or optional Douglas fir or primed wood. A new internal secure connecting system results in a pristine interior wood surface with no unsightly nail holes or staples, perfect for staining, sealing or painting. The outside is durable fiberglass. When Milgard set out to build a better wood window, good wasn't good enough. It had to live up to the Milgard name. Which is why we created a window that embodies beauty and strength. Style and innovation. Comfort and dependability.

We offer a prefinish option, and color stain or paint, so the customer doesnt have to hastle with it.

Choose from three wood interior options. Seal or stain our natural woods to match the woods in your home. Or go with a primed wood to paint the color of your choice. A new secure connecting system firmly joins wood and fiberglass for an aesthetically superior appearance with no unsightly nail holes or staples.

Durable Exteriors

Conventional wood windows rely on wood exteriors or on aluminum cladding or other composite materials to protect the wood. The problem: water inevitably gets behind the cladding as the silicone sealant deteriorates, which can cause rotting and damage. Milgard uses a tough fiberglass exterior frame and sash construction. Plus we use a proprietary powder-coat process for a baked-on, sag-free, extremely durable exterior coating that resists scratches and gouges.

Choose from 15 exterior fiberglass colors - each carefully selected to complement new and classic home styles. A variety of grid options gives you nearly endless design flexibility - even non-linear patterns.
